Our Story
The Team You Need was born after a personal loss and a battle with cancer.
Within a year I lost my step-daughter and was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. My world drastically changed. My diagnosis hit right when the Covid Pandemic Settled in which made for the most stressful time I’ve ever had. From attending numerous appointments alone, not wanting to see anyone in fear of getting sick during chemo treatments, to waiting to find out what the results from the next tests were going to be – it was an extremely emotional time in my life. I was so glad to have “My Team” with me – my team of close friends and family.
It was in my chemo chair during one appointment when I came up with this concept – I wanted to wear my support… why not be able to wear your support and bring it with you wherever you go as a constant reminder – YOUR TEAM IS WITH YOU!
During chemo treatments, hair loss, stress, constant changes, it was hard to know mentally how to help myself. It was one of my closest friends who suggested to me “You need to find your zen girl.” And, well here it is – my zen. My zen is to help you help others show your support. Let me help you create a customized design for your person to wear their support wherever they go, whenever they need!
The concept continued to branch out… corporate rewards for new teams/initiatives, sporting teams, family events, holidays – we all NEED A TEAM! And here it is for you – The Team You Need!
